www.sharesomewhere.org is a site operated by Youth United Foundation ("We" "Us" "Our"). We are registered in England and Wales under company number 07983862 and have our registered office at 202 Lambeth Road, London, SE1 7JW. We are a registered Charity and our Charity number is 1147952.

We are a limited company and we are regulated by The Charity Commission.

By using our site and/or our services, you confirm that you accept these terms of use and that you agree to comply with them.

If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our site.

These terms of use refer to our Privacy Policy, which also applies to your use of our site and which sets out the terms on which we process any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us. THE SERVICE

Our site is used to provide a service whereby businesses, individuals or organisations who have capacity for the use of their property or premises ("Host") can advertise that they have such capacity and/or to provide further details of that capacity (including details as to the address, nature of the premises, size of any available spaces etc) with a view to finding persons who may require use of that property or premises ("Guest").

This will be done through a listing/bulletin board on the site which will also include details of how to contact the relevant Host. Use of this site by either the Host or the Guest shall not be capable of giving rise to any contractual relationship between us, the Host, or the Guest in respect of any property or premises. In particular, the Host and the Guest must agree a separate legally binding contract between them for the use of any property or premises. We shall have no responsibility to either the Host or the Guest in respect of their relationship with each other (if any)

We may make changes to our site

We may update and change our site from time to time to reflect changes to our Service, our users' needs and our business priorities. We will try to give you reasonable notice of any major changes.

We may suspend or withdraw our site

Our site is made available free of charge.

We do not guarantee that our site, or any content on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted. We may suspend or withdraw or restrict the availability of all or any part of our site for business and operational reasons. We will try to give you reasonable notice of any suspension or withdrawal and try to schedule any suspension or withdrawal outside of business hours.

If we decide to withdraw the site from use then any provision of these terms and conditions which is to survive termination (either by implication or express statement) shall so survive.

You are also responsible for ensuring that all persons who access our site through your internet connection are aware of these terms of use and other applicable terms and conditions, and that they comply with them.

Our site is only for users in the UK

Our site is directed to people residing in the United Kingdom. We do not represent that content available on or through our site is appropriate for use or available in other locations.

You must keep your account details safe

When you sign up to use our services you will be required to choose a username and password as part of our security procedures you must treat these as confidential and you must not disclose them to any third party. You will be required to change your password at least once every 90 days.

We have the right to disable any user username or password at any time if in our reasonable opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these terms of use.

How you may use material on our site

We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our site, and in the material published on it. Those works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved.

You may print off one copy, and may download extracts, of any page(s) from our site for your personal use and you may draw the attention of others within your organisation to content posted on our site.

You must not modify the paper or digital copies of any materials you have printed off or downloaded in any way, and you must not use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences or any graphics separately from any accompanying text.

Our status (and that of any identified contributors) as the authors of content on our site must always be acknowledged.

You must not use any part of the content on our site for commercial purposes without obtaining a licence to do so from us or our licensors.

If you print off, copy or download any part of our site in breach of these terms of use, your right to use our site will cease immediately and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made.

The content on our site is provided for general information only. It is not intended to amount to advice on which you should rely. You must contact the relevant author of a post on our site directly before taking, or refraining from, any action on the basis of the content or postings on our site.

These content standards apply to any and all material which you contribute to our site ("contributions").

We will determine, in our discretion, whether there has been a breach of this Acceptable Use Policy through your use of our site. When a breach of this policy has occurred, we may take such action as we deem appropriate.

Failure to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy constitutes a material breach of the terms of use upon which you are permitted to use our site, and may result in our taking all or any of the following actions:

We exclude liability for actions taken in response to breaches of this Acceptable Use Policy. The responses described in this policy are not limited, and we may take any other action we reasonably deem appropriate.

You warrant that any contribution made by you does comply with our Acceptable Use Policy, and you will be liable to us and indemnify us for any breach of that warranty. This means you will be responsible for any loss or damage we suffer as a result of your breach of warranty.

Any content you upload to our site will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary. You retain all of your ownership rights in your content, but you grant us and other users of our site a royalty free, irrevocable, limited licence to use, amend (in accordance with these terms), store and copy that content and to distribute and make it available to third parties.

We also have the right to disclose your identity to any third party who is claiming that any content posted or uploaded by you to our site constitutes a violation of their intellectual property rights, or of their right to privacy.

We have the right to remove or amend, to the minimum extent that we consider necessary any posting you make on our site if, in our opinion, your post does not comply with the content standards set out in our Acceptable Use Policy above.

You are solely responsible for securing and backing up your content.

We do not guarantee that our site will be secure or free from bugs or viruses.

You are responsible for configuring your information technology, computer programmes and platform to access our site. You should use your own up to date virus protection software.

You must not misuse our site by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our site, the server on which our site is stored or any server, computer or database connected to our site. You must not attack our site via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of service attack. By breaching this provision, you would commit a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and we will co-operate with those authorities by disclosing your identity to them. In the event of such a breach, your right to use our site will cease immediately.

Rules about linking to our site

You may link to our home page, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it.

You must not establish a link in such a way as to suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part where none exists.

You must not establish a link to our site in any website that is not owned by you.

Our site must not be framed on any other site, nor may you create a link to any part of our site other than the home page.

We reserve the right to withdraw linking permission without notice.

Which country's laws apply to any disputes?

If you are a consumer, please note that these terms of use, their subject matter and their formation, are governed by English law. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction except that if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are a resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.

If you are a business, these terms of use, their subject matter and their formation (and any non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by English law. We both agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Win £500 for your space or for a charity of your choice, terms & conditions.

  1. The prize is a £500 donation to a Registered Charity. If the host organisation of the registered space on the Share Somewhere website is a Registered Charity, the £500 donation can be paid directly to that host organisation. If the host organisation of the registered space on the Share Somewhere website is not a registered charity, the host organisation can nominate a Registered Charity to receive the £500 donation, subject to approval by Youth United. Youth United will make a direct payment to the agreed Registered Charity.
  2. To enter this competition, register a space by creating an account on the Share Somewhere website and add at least one space via the dashboard.
  3. Every space registered on Share Somewhere by 30th June 2017 will be treated as an entry. Entries not complying with these terms & conditions will be invalid.
  4. This Prize Draw is open to UK residents aged 18+, excluding employees of Youth United, their families or anyone else connected with this promotion. Youth United reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants. Youth United may require such information as it considers reasonably necessary for the purpose of verifying the eligibility of an entry and the prize may be withheld until and unless Youth United is satisfied with the verification.
  5. The Prize Draw runs during the Prize Draw Dates until the specified Closing Date (Midnight on Friday 30th June 2017). Entries received after this date and time will not be entered into the Prize Draw.
  6. The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received. The winner will be notified within a reasonable time after the Draw Date by email, mail or telephone. The prize is awarded conditionally upon acceptance and if a winner is unable to be contacted after a reasonable period or if any prize is unclaimed or declined within a reasonable period, the prize shall be deemed as unclaimed or unaccepted and a supplementary winner may be drawn at Youth United′s discretion.
  7. Youth United reserves the right to provide a substitute prize of similar value should the specified prize become unavailable for reasons beyond its control. Cash or credit alternatives will not be offered. None of the prizes are transferable.
  8. In the event of fraud, abuse and/or an error affecting the proper operation of this Prize Draw, Youth United reserves the right to end or suspend the Prize Draw; amend these terms & conditions and declare void the notification of winner;
  9. The winner may be required to participate in publicity connected with this Prize Draw and it is a condition of entry that the winner agrees to their registered space and chosen Registered Charity being made publicly available if they win.
  10. Entry is subject to registering a space on Share Somewhere and all data is held in accordance with the privacy Policy of the website
